Exercise #1
Sandstorms
Small villages or even large cities can become engulfed by dust as a result of sandstorms. Examples of where this may occur are locations such as Australia, Arizona or Iraq.
Dust storms can occur on other planets such as Mars. When looking through a telescope, the storms occurring can actually be seen from earth.
Sandstorms usually occur in dry hot places like the dessert. The storms usually happen during dry summer seasons.
Sandstorms can have negative impacts when it comes to modes of transportation such as driving cars or flying planes, this is because as a result of the storm, dust is left in the air which causes poor visibility.
